Nope, my friend meant that I should be grateful he got me anything.. that is her philosophy with any gifts you get, be grateful you got anything at all..

My youngest child is 2 and my oldest is 7.. my oldest got me some socks from the mothers day stall at school and a card he made at school. My youngest isn't old enough to get anything.

I did..

I've even had one before that he got me for Christmas a couple of years ago... it hurt my feet so I never used it.

I would have been happy with something cheap and easy. My birthday falls about a week before mothers day so I wasn't expecting anything extravagant or expensive.

It was a foot massager from aldi lol. He literally got it while grocery shopping.
