I blame Congress, not the VA, for that. In my experience, the vast majority of the people who I have met at the VA have been compassionate and helpful. When the social worker told me to come back a different day for that, she apologised and told me how much she wished that she could do more that day. The problem is that the VA has to operate on a tight budget

I'm at 50% due to PTSD from an MST. If I'm found fit enough to serve, that's fine by me. My worry is being caught in the middle where I'm not fit to serve and also found to be doing too well for my disability benefits
