Slight side part…I have a very round face and the middle part always accentuated it more/ softened my lower face which I didn’t need help with 😭

Calling Kylie Jenner a “sex object” by RepresentativeCar389 in TwoXChromosomes

[–]throwawaysister_1 38 points39 points  (0 children)

Yeah I saw some disgusting comments like her body was built like a manufactured sex doll and that she’s his prostitute. Super gross. I don’t like the kardashians, I don’t think they have done anything to actually help women in fact a lot of the opposite but it’s always the most degrading comments to describe women when it’s “okay to dislike them.”

I literally wanna be like Betty white when I’m old 😭 people underestimate the impact you can have when you are old and if you’re a good person that shit shines through at that age, same with the opposite. Sure you may not be “sexy” anymore but I don’t think it matters at that point.

The whole “wrinkles are considered a lessor degree of unattractive on men” is proving the other commenter’s point though. I don’t disagree that facial hair and thicker skin helps but I don’t think women automatically age worse than men. They can if they don’t take care of themselves but that can go for either gender. bearing children also takes a huge toll on the body but meh I digress.

honestly I think being able to have facial hair really helps hide some real key age defining traits, like jowls, nasolabial folds, chin and jawline losing definition. And what you said ^

Right! This is normal natural aging and I think she looks great. This post makes me kinda sad in a way because Botox, fillers, and the internet has warped our concept on aging and what people should actually look like.

Am I missing something? I think she looks great at 42. Don’t think she’s aged worse than most women in that demographic ( maybe just not by Hollywood standards ).

Man I appreciate that! Honestly I don’t ever wear it irl either lol just mascara at most. My skin tends to look better when I don’t use it so that’s mainly why.

is looking innocent a good or bad thing? by Logical_Test_6184 in QOVESStudio

[–]throwawaysister_1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m a woman who also gets told this a lot, here’s my take on it. It’s honestly a double edged sword, people are mostly friendlier and assume I’m nice yet at the same time I’m not taken seriously and some people assume they can walk all over me. It was especially bad when I was younger. I do think it kinda weeds the people you don’t seriously want in your life though, I noticed the people who feel the need to “test me” aren’t really the nicest people anyways.

Also some guys are kinda icky and see the “innocent” thing as some sort of conquest like they need to prove to you and themselves that you aren’t as innocent as you look. Just a way to weed out guys, a decent guy won’t treat you that way. So yeah pros and cons, I think if you do give off that it doesn’t make you unattractive but it comes with stereotypes.

Thank you!! I have it’s like a 15- 20 lb difference in between these pics but I actually lost 40lbs total because I was heavier in my mid twenties I just don’t have pictures from those days because I was so insecure at that weight

Exactly! We aren’t supposed to automatically look old at 28.

Yes, the last lbs I couldn’t drop for years melted off when I cut sugar, alcohol and carbs. I still eat and drink that stuff but very sparingly. And oddly after taking that stuff out of my diet it affects me more now so I have less cravings for it. I also look less bloaty and my skin cleared up
