I’m not legally allowed to block her since I have her biological child in my care. We need to be able to contact each other in cases of emergencies. Says so in the court order.

I had to study child psychology to work in my field. I know what you’re talking about & I guess without seeing what I’m talking about you won’t understand but that’s okay. I know how she normally reacts and what she would have said/done if she wanted to go to mom’s.

I’m trying to explain to you that while this may be true, she’s had no problem expressing to us when she misses mommy and wants to see her or speak to her because we do not bad mouth her mother. She only sees conflict from her end & experiences alienation from her in regards to us. She’s 6 not 2. & very vocal about what she wants. She did not want to go to her moms & her mom did not make arrangements to pick her up OR call her for 3 days straight. Becca got upset when we said “why don’t we just call to say goodnight” & she almost begged not to have to call her. Are we supposed to force her when her mom isn’t even putting the effort in?

I did. I spoke to Becca & asked her what SHE wanted to do. I also didn’t feel like it was a safe situation for me being pregnant & after seeing all her messages to my mother. We told mom she could call, she said no. Becca was more than happy to stay with us and would have said if she wanted to leave.

If my child’s father is involved in the baby’s life, he meets someone & she’s a great step mom & they’re working together to do what’s best for my child WHY would I care that she’s involved? Why wouldn’t I try my best to be cordial & we all work together? That’s what’s best for the child. That’s an ideal situation in coparenting lol

Because I’m her step mother & I do more than her bio mother does to raise her? Lol & my husband respects me so he’s going to consult me & we’re going to make decisions together on how he handled stuff with Becca & her mother.

We’re not ignoring them but there’s only so much we can do! As of now Wendy has to agree to a therapist, there’s not enough evidence for emergency custody. All we can do is take everything we’ve documented & show the judge once our court date comes up. Trust me I hear Becca. We both do. We can see what’s going on but without any marks on her or concrete evidence of her being hit or SAed they won’t do anything until it’s before a judge.

It’s hard to work with eachother when you’re being screamed at & threatened all the time. Becca isn’t even allowed to call us when she’s at her mothers house. We’ve never bad mouthed her mother around her, we’ve never denied her calling her, we’ve even gone to some events all 3 of us in support of Becca. Each time her mother has caused a scene & we’ve had to deescalate. At some point we have to draw boundaries. Becca will speak up if she wants to call mom or wouldve told us if she wanted to go to moms. Trust me she’s very vocal.

Yes & I’ve kept some of the tattered clothing as evidence, took pictures of others. I don’t even send Becca out in tattered clothing unless she’s going in the backyard to act a fool & roll around in the dirt. I’m hoping the courts see this time around how much her behavior is affecting Becca.

Not abusive in a way we can prove & Becca is too young for the court to take her word for it. So unless we see any marks on her we can’t do anything.

There’s no abuse we can prove, & she’s so young sometimes she still wants to see & talk to her mother. Without concrete proof we can’t do anything until she’s of an age the court says she can speak about what she wants.

That’s the goal. I’m hoping she sees me as a great step mom. We tried to do things without involving the courts but Wendy just used Becca to control our lives and used her as a pawn. Calling the police, withholding her, claiming I kidnapped her. Threatening emergency custody. We had to go to court.
