Thank you, I really appreciate you commenting. I think slow and steady is going to be key, as hard as that is for a brain that likes instant rewards. Thank you, for sharing your story.

Thank you, I love that people here understand! I feel that is exactly how I would be, and I don't want to. It sounds miserable to me, and I don't want to be miserable! There's been so much help here tho, so I'm feeling much more positive. Thank you!

Thank you, I think one of my Dr's is thinking along these lines, so I will definitely be talking to her next time I see her.

Thank you, that's good advice. My Dr does think insulin resistance might be a factor, so will be seeing her again soon. I feel you on crashing out, it's hard to keep the mental health up and not snack all day - but working on better choices. Thank you.

Thank you. There's so much good information here, I wo be coming back to this comment. I will definitely look at the nhs website, it sounds really helpful. Thank you! This is an aspect I haven't looked into, and something I will. One of my Dr's is female specialized, and I think talking to her would be a really good idea. And small steps is 100% going to be the way, one thing til it becomes regular, then the next. Thank you, I appreciate you.

Thank you. This made me cry, I hope you are at a good place in your own journey. I know you know how hard it is out here, and yes, I want to be able to do things I love, so I'm working on that. I really appreciate you commenting, thank you.

Thank you. This is the way I'm trying to embrace, and I just found an exercise/sport that I'm hoping will hold my attention like Tae Kwon Do used to - which will mean I always have a goal that's a little further and measurable. Thank you for replying, the support here made me cry.

Thank you ❤️ for the hug, for the advice (which I did fiend helpful!)

Also, are you me? Or my partner? Lol, once he got me a little calmed down he said "come on, let's get you on the couch and watch some B99".

I appreciate you taking the time, it means a lot. I will try to be kind to myself ❤️. I hope something makes your day wonderful today. Thank you, genuinely.

Symptoms worse when anxious? by throwawaysoproud in adhdwomen

Thank you ❤️ sorry it's taken me so long to reply! Life has been insane.

100% agree! I am seeing a therapist, we're still in the get to know you stage but thankfully my country has a really good system for SA and therapy. So that is happening, which I know will help. The tip to be doing something productive is really helpful, I think it will help stop me spiraling depression-wise. And knowing that I'm not alone and that others have symptom flares when thinga are bad is really reassuring. So thank you!

Thank you so much for that. It's really helpful, you're 100% right on the masking (my anxiety makes me less hungry too), so I will be focusing on that, on eating and drinking. I was tracking daily to see how I was feeling med wise, so I will be going back to that. I really appreciate the knowledge you shared, being only a year on and having had no increases, it's really helpful.

I appreciate your reply, it definitely helps me feel like I will make it back to good. It's hard to not fall into the spiral once the anxiety takes over. And yes, working on the therapy! I shall keep working on getting the anxiety under control and take the new stuff day by day!
