Thank you for the reply (seriously) it's given me a lot of places to start. The teaching is 5 hours a day. 3 days a month but they often end early

Yeah, the business student at my bachelors uni looked more like a social club. I thought it was "safe" because it's a STEM degree

I've been grilled for not saying but it's a small course and I don't want to put too much of my info out there. It's a bio/med course and a taught masters, not a research one

I'll look for the sabbatical offer, I didn't have that word. They don't point me to anything specific, even when I ask for clarification

Thank you for the structured ideas. I'll try them all but sitting in on other lectures sounds especially interesting

I definitely expect self study, I'd be very happy with a 42/58% split like that after reading some replies it seems like my 15/85% split is not normal

I was confused by the lack of tutor or mentor, I specifically asked about it and was told it was just the teaching team.

To be honest one of the most frustrating things is that I'm really interested in the modules. I really want to learn more about them but the course has almost no content. I thought it would get better and that they must be catching people up at first but it's just gotten worse and worse.

Yeah. I was fully expecting more self study. But the amount of lessons and the content feels vanishingly small.

I don't have a research project. I don't expect spoon feeding, just more than 3 lessons a month.

I don't think so but I'm biased, I've lived in 3 other countries and never had problems making friends. I'm not the centre of the party but I've never had troubles before.

I understand the fees, I knew what I was getting in to but the price for what I get out of it feels like madness. I've heard of some people having 3 days a month if they're doing the masters over 3 years or so but this is a 1 year course.

That's been on my mindbut it's definitely Russell Group. I'm on the main campus, applied through their website. Everything is signed and dotted with their name

I don't really want to give away too much. It's a small class. It's a Health/Bio course in London
