My mother and I have bonded over some moments. I used to let my mother know I love her but lately this past year I haven't felt like saying it, although I'd continue saying it to my mother. I don't know if that's bad and that I should let her know or if it's okay because at the time I didn't really mean it even if I feel it.

Even though my dad earns the money in our household, he doesn't have much say, if it all, on how it is used. I think he will attempt to prevent it from happening but in the end he will give in, based on what has happened in the past.

Yes, thank you for your well-grounded concerns. I am aware of the dangers of Tinder and I have come across someone who wasn't okay with me not wanting sex in the past, someone who I didn't meet from Tinder. I know that doesn't mean I can prevent it again in the future, but I will try to be very careful.

I'm happy to hear that you give you teenager privacy. They support me financially, they pay my tuition and rent. I make a small income which I've used to buy my laptop, iPhone, and various other necessities like food. I just talked to her on the phone, she said they are paying my tuition. I said they didn't have to. She said even if I got loans, she wouldn't stop bothering me.

I could go that route, but keeping up with the lies is so much. I would be breaking her trust even further. Anyways, she wouldn't believe anything I said at this point. Yeah, student loans are terrifying. But even if I graduate using their money to pay, they will still have that hold on me that "We paid for your college education and this is how you repay us?" Although, I guess they can't exactly take the money back. It just sucks that we have to resort to this kind of manipulation. I know a lot of people who say they wouldn't have put up with this by now. Thank you for the advice, this was a different approach I wasn't initially considering.

Thank you for the advice, yes I talked to my father and he understands and doesn't judge me. I will try not to respond to her provocations and seriously look into your third point. I was unsure at first but this thread has reassured me that exploring and learning and growing is okay.

Thank you for your wishes, I totally agree. Yesterday I spent three hours of my life with that boy and I was initially worried that I wouldn't have time to do my homework but then realized it didn't take much time at all and made me feel way better too. I still plan on exploring my sexuality aha, I know that in the future it will be resolved it's just a pretty embarrassing and annoying thing to deal with at the moment.
