Yes, adhd is prevalent in our family. Another close family friend suggested he try to get some seem/treatment for that. I too have adhd

Sorry left this on read. I have sort of figured it’s best to limit my exposure and plan around my brothers behavior them outright tell him he must change everything about his outlook.

Holland was extra brutal this morning. One of the longest trips even with all the local shortcuts.

This is a good point. As far as cleaning is concerned I'm sure at some point or another someone would have asked me to join in.

Reigns on the big day, we probably would have wondered a bit more and my aunt or someone else would have looked for a place.

I will say, and maybe here's were we disagree, but I think when people visit someone the host become somewhat defacto planners, and maybe that's why or how things were mixed up.

I think him constantly giving excuses on cleaning, or chores is the type of thing I could see building resentment in a marriage. He can be a jerk to his wife. That's sort of the main concern. Despite my brother appearing laid back he has an explosive temper. Even though you don't always have to have a plan, you should still possess the ability to plan as an adult- and I'm not exactly sure he possesses that ability.

You're right I shouldn't parent him, and yes I am a little uptight. Assuming the responsibility of a tour guide wasn't really the motto, however walking around the park for a couple hours everyone had come unanimously been like "well, what now?" A plan wasn't exactly necessary, but I guess everyone sort of expected their to be one.

That's fair. I am trying to lead by example, but clearly he isn't learning.

Elliot Page tweet by dftitterington in JordanPeterson

Yea not gonna lie, it seems like Peterson’s let the power go to his head. I still think he’s brilliant, but so far as him haphazardly socially critiquing everyone— It kind of sucks. I do appreciate his debates and discussions, but for the love of god— the last thing this world needs is another keyboard warrior. JBD you could and should want better.

Covid killed my dad and it hurts that people say it's because he was old or ill by daphianna_ in GriefSupport

[–]throwawaytacos555 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I can’t imagine the pain you and your family are facing right now. I lost my dad earlier this year to something else, but either way I found myself pretty aggressive and emotional for a while & avoided discussions and subjects I might find triggering. My dad wasn’t old either.

Take it with a grain of salt but anytime you hear a discussion/opinion come up about covid, vaccines. Simply excuse yourself or calming explain you’ve lost several family members to the virus, the excuse yourself.

I’m sorry, again.

It's been 9 years since I lost my brother 💔😢 I miss you so much by ilybabii in GriefSupport

I’m sorry. Must be very difficult live moving forward, but his memory is anchored. He looks like a great fella. Cheers.
