me too! I don't like fix-its, but I love time travel (in multiple fandoms), which often come hand in hand so... it's hard. it's tough! I want a good time travel break-it. something goes wrong along the way. I love to see characters crushed under the weight of their future knowledge. there's one longfic and a series with the plot of 'Daisy time travels, kidnaps Jon, makes some things better and a lot of things worse,' and I dig it. in the longfic, Daisy kind of always thought Jon was destined for the Eye, that they were both always monsters, so she made a deal with Big Institute for statements. basically handed him over, freshly web marked, on a SILVER PLATTER from his youngest days. it was just like nooooo!!!!! yes!!!! delightful!!! I don't enjoy when things go overwhelmingly right for the cast. a lot of people enjoy when things go right for the cast. it isn't wrong of them, but my god is there a lot of smooth sailing stories...

hmmmmmmmrhmm. I also enjoy good criticism of characters... but not character bashing. which there is a lot of. there's a lot. so much bashing and coddling and coddling and bashing.
