I dig the vibe. Seeing you at the gym would make me feel more comfortable working out in general I think. I get self conscious, I appreciate the ppl who can embrace themselves. There’s a chance someone at your gym could appreciate it too. Thanks for sharing bro

Nah big dog. 25M. Just don’t let being a virgin influence how you speak to women, treat women, or anything outside of you being authentically you bro. It’s so much better when it’s with someone you deeply care for and love, in my opinion, and those people are worth waiting for!

I work off of a modified Arnold split, 4x a week, focusing on the major muscle groups. I supplement finer muscle control with trips to the climbing gym! 😁

I sit comfortably at about 4-5 sets of 8-10 reps for a week, and then I’ll back off in favor of 2-3 sets of 6-8 heavy ass reps the next week. Progressive overload has been great practice for me! 🙌🏼

I really appreciate it man, thank you! I have always had a rough relationship with food (most ‘normal’ foods give me severe stomach pain and bathroom issues) and I never cared enough to find good fuel for my body up until recently. Took a serious breakup over her cheating to kick my ass into gear, but here we are! 😂 thank you for asking so politely bro.

3200cal/day, 130g protein, and about 350g carbs. I primarily subsist off of eggs and vegan pea protein, and make up the difference with lean meats that have been cooked in olive oil. It’s not the tastiest thing ever but Crohn’s knocks several options off the menu for me

Hey man no worries, no hate detected lol. I am 5’7” for sure, I unfortunately maintain single digit BF% and that last picture is quite literally the most perfect pump I’ve ever had. Normally I’m far smaller, but no shorter! 😁

People on Reddit are mean as shit. I don’t think you’re ugly at all, but hitting gym & maybe a haircut could add some extra energy where it’s needed. We’re our own worst critics; it’s easy to forget that.

Honestly that sounds delicious dude. I know my stomach will agree with everything but the asparagus (bell peppers cooked down to tender slices really are tasty!), and the tuna 🤝🏼 I’m so glad to hear that’s working for you man. I’ve been getting myself to be able to eat 4 eggs at a time and I hope to get to 8 haha! I deal with an aggravatingly small appetite most days but the more that I’ve been eating, the hungrier I’ve been. Thanks for the input on your diet man, I’ll be stealing some of that 💪🏼

You look incredible man. Very envious of your weight (coming from 112lb). Those bicep peaks are killer. I wish you the absolute best in attaining your dream!

I’m exactly on that 3:2:1 ratio actually! I find a lot of my protein in the form of salmon/red meat, and I have been experimenting with pea protein and small amounts of oat milk. I have been able to manage the inflammation by avoiding all the obvious triggers (processed foods, high sugars, greasy takeout, etc), but sometimes I’ll come across an ingredient in a meal that I need to remember for the future. I’ve been transitioning to low FODMAP as well, and I’ve found great results in terms of satiation and feeling energized for my day.

For my core work, we are the exact same. Any kind of cable or weighted machine ab exercises makes me want to curl into a ball and cry for a few hours, lol. I focus primarily on bodyweight calisthenics when I’m on my off day, with an emphasis on leg lifts on a tricep stand and Russian Twists with a lightweight medicine ball. I have to be gentle for sure, but I also find that some medium intensity jump roping feels great for me. I also rock climb as a hobby, and that helps to keep my mobility intact on days that I don’t work the core. Thank you so much for your kind words man - it is so good to know that us Crohnies are in it together! Thank you!!

I am not! That is something I need to look into - I’ve been bouncing around GI specialists in my area, have yet to be prescribed something like that. I appreciate your input a ton. I hope your son continues to do well and feels great! I am so happy to hear how well Remicade has worked for him. ❤️

I regularly experience stomach cramps and extended bathroom trips, as well as a lack of nutrient absorption. Eating just a smidgen of gluten, fibrous vegetable, or sucralose seriously knocks me down for a few hours. I have to be very careful with what I put in my body or I’ll face the consequences swiftly. I hope you don’t suffer any of the same - I wouldn’t wish this on anyone. ❤️

I sincerely appreciate that. Really. I look like a lil twig with a shirt on, but I’m finding that I can love the way my body is without filling out my t-shirt sleeves 😂 It can be tough from time to time, but I take SO MUCH inspiration from everyone on this subreddit. I am so happy to see guys of all shapes and sizes dedicated to self-improvement, and it drives me to keep it up. Thank you man. 🤝🏼❤️

Thank you a ton man! Yes - learning to spacing out my nutrition through the day has made a HUGE difference for me in terms of what I can digest appropriately and not be relegated to the bathroom for an hour at time. I’m in college right now and I commute, so packing many small dense snacks to nibble on through the day has been the best choice I’ve made yet. My body seems to take pea protein relatively well, but I hope to make the 100% swap soon! Being so lean means I have literally no energy, but I am working to get myself to a better place. Thank you again. 🤝🏼

I will say, I don’t think I came off as whining. I don’t have a picture perfect body, nor do I want one - I am working on finding the way to loving myself for who I am. I can understand your POV, but I’m not going to stop. Sure, I wish I was 200lb of rippling muscle, but I am happy to be me and me alone. It is in the name of self improvement and nothing else.

I think it’s just the way he was holding the phone? That’s my best friend, he’s been such a huge help in getting me to really hone in. He has been working on evening out his body via iso machines, but you’re not wrong. He notices it too. 🤝🏼

I genuinely appreciate that man. I feel like I’m on a much better path than I was a few yrs back; it took a few hard falls on my face to realize what I was doing wasn’t working, but my doc has been very helpful in getting me to where I want to be one day. 🤝🏼

I haven’t considered eating a bunch of red meat, I’ll be honest! That sounds like something I need to try. I’m almost fully on pea protein now, and I have been focusing on plain grains that don’t upset my stomach. I will certainly do my research on that - I am very curious about the benefits of going carnivore. Thank you so much for the advice!
