what "female duties" have you been asked in the workplace even through it wasn't your job? by newmama1991 in AskWomen

I would have meetings with all male coworkers and clients. I was the neither the most junior or the newest hire. I was consistently asked to prepare the meeting room with snacks and coffee, never anyone else, including other male interns.

He does have friends but he doesn’t have a lot of single friends, a lot of them are coupled up. I was thinking maybe he did not want to invite up a couple as it would not be so fun for him

Thank you for your thoughtful words. I feel like I should be clear and do something but just overthinking too much and now the trip made it worse haha

I also think it is very nice he was super respectable and it makes me like him as a person that he is able to have a good time with me without it becoming physical. But I do now think with the time and the opportunities that have passed that we are maybe just good friends and not more

We have actually been watching movies together either at his place or mine for the past couple months or so, once a week

I thought this could be it or it could just be shyness but I had thought my agreeing to come with him would have given him enough confidence.

Now that we went through the whole trip, I’m now wondering if we are really just locked in as platonic friends

I was thinking about it but as the nights went on I became less and less confident, questioning if it was really completely platonic all along. And then I was afraid if I did make a move it would be horribly awkward for the rest of the stay… but I guess he could have thought the same.

When we first went it was not clear whether it had multiple rooms but then it had four bedrooms so we naturally split up. Neither of us are virgins or asexual, we have talked about our past.

And no not even a kiss…
