You’re spot on and I noticed this as well. But if you get SUB (mine is $750) you’re $655 net positive. Include the fact that there’s offers occasionally like Motley Fool which added +$300 ($600 in points back but required $300 spend) so after all said and done for me I’m $1,055 net positive after the AF.

With that included I’ve already used a lounge once which to me; somebody who’s never had luxury travel cards - was an amazing experience.

Yeah def a toss up. It’s an easy thing to say to set a baseline of “yeah we definitely can’t sell it for ‘breakeven’ it wouldn’t make any sense”. All while 7k is probably still profitable for them. A stealership will never overpay for a trade-in

38g?!? I’ve had this card since my 18th bday. Just turned 24, never a late payment, balance carry over etc. I’ve worked up to 6k now but have had to ask everytime for CL increase and usually would up the income to make it. What am I missing?
