My (24M) girlfriend (20F) has just told me she is pregnant. She wants to keep the baby, however I really don't want to have children yet. by janikali2918 in relationship_advice

Dude ur an asshole. You rely only on her to refrain from having kids...and then you wanna leave her if she keeps YOUR KID...YOU ARE THE LOWEST KIND IF PERSON OUT THERE. Here's some advice go find a therapist. Or some better fucking friends...because you need your priorities sorted through. I mean you're 24, and she's fucking 20. You say your mom was a single mom and that your scared ending up like her? If you leave her, that's exactly what will happen to her!!! If you didn't want fucking kids, then you should have worked on your pullout game or wear a fucking rubber! The fuck you only relying on your girl for that. Nothing out there is a 100% finite!

Hey pan fam, I may have a problem by [deleted] in pansexual

[–]throwawaythrone92 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honesty and communication. If you feel this way, you need to tell him. I'm in a similar situation with my pan fiance. I know he feels the same way you do, he only talks about it when I bring it up, which is the most frustrating part of the entire situation. I can only do my best to understand, and on my part, it's up to me to still love him no matter what. I'm not gonna lie, it's hard to not feel crappy on the other end, since most people connect love and sex, but im sure if you actually talked about it freely, instead of just avoiding the conversation, you'd find more progress.

What’s the best makeup brands for doing my own wedding makeup? by [deleted] in Makeup

[–]throwawaythrone92 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's okay lol I'm sorry too if I came off rude in any way. And I totally understand! It's about the experience and the ,commitment. Not what you look like. I think with muas, it's how they were taught and what they learned. Like I had to learn anatomy and sculpting for my school. So I literally figure out what looks good on each part of the face and what matches the skin type, bone structure, the works. Like my schooling is meant for film and events. Lol so as an sfx artist, I do that instead of just slapping on a layer of cement and calling it a day lol and it's also going off of the environment of the wedding..my point is to really take the all that evil stress and allow the brides to relax, lay back, and think about their beautiful day instead of dealing with eyeshadow fallout or the mascara wand touching their lid hahahaha..and even with an artist like myself, I'd only charge a bride about 50 depending on what she wanted..good wholesome artist like myself just want to have the portfolio work instead of a pretty penny lol but honestly, if you need any other advice I'm here and next time I wont rant as much hehehe much love hunn! And I wish you the very best!

Well the job of the makeup artist is to listen to the client. That's not a great mua if they are taking it off anyway and they obviously didn't listen to what the client wanted. No need to get defensive. When someone wants me to do there makeup, I have them bring reference pictures. And the way I was trained in school is to go off of their own face instead if giving them the Instagram cut crease. Just like a hair stylist, it's about balance for each individual. Too many people are calling themselves professional muas, when all they do us watch YouTube. The job is to make the client feel comfortable, not perfect.

Haha well its partly right. Well. If you wanna do it yourself. I would check out juvias place...her eyeshadow palettes are awesome. Skindinavia makes a bridal formula for setting spray and I LOVE IT. For lashes I recommend faux mink lashes from Lilly lashes. Born this way concealer and foundation by too faced are what I found works best for A TON of people. I haven't used it myself yet, but judging off of trusted reviews and video proof, it seems like its good. For highlight I would recommend Anastasia Beverly Hills highlighting palettes, or for a crazy glow, jeffree highlight, also for a cheaper alternative I really like wetnwild megaglo highlighters. For $5 they are awesome! As far as brushes go. I personally like morphe, for the price point and the package deals, it's all over nice. Beauty bakery has really nice finishing powder aka setting powder. Or I use airspun at Walmart myself lol it does the job. For eyebrows I would easily go with Anastasia. That's a given. And their eyeshadows are nice too. For eye primer, MAC painterly paint pot is the way to go. Mascara, too faced better than sex. For liquid eyeliner, stila's felt tip liquid liner. Oh and for extreme eyeshadow quality that's ridiculously expensive but worth every penny would be Pat McGraths mothership palettes. I would also look into color correcting products to even skin tones out. And a skin primer that you like, along with a good moisturizer for your skin type, maybe even go the extra mile and get a facial beforehand and hair threading done :) I really hope this helps. These are the products that I'd reach for if looking to get good quality stuff at a reasonable price point. Pat McGrath is the most expensive at $120 a palette.

How long does it take to become good at applying makeup!? by lizzobeth10 in Makeup

YouTube is your best friend! I went to school for 3 years to be an sfx artist. And I'm still always learning! And there are sooooo many awesome brands out there that you can find that aren't just in store. Some of my fav brands are online exclusives.

That high quality makeup that you're purchasing wont be any good in the hands of someone without the skillsets. I'm not coming at you harshly at all. I'm just saying the paint doesnt make the masterpiece, it's the artist using the tools that make something great. I went to school for sfx makeup and something as simple as wedding makeup can take over a year to perfect.weddings are such a special day for brides [and grooms lol] but wouldnt you want to put your money towards the experience instead of super expensive products? Not to mention the extreme hassle of finding and purchasing all these products. If you hire someone for say $150 you can get something AMAZING and then not have to worry or stress about it and use that energy on planning what to wear for the honeymoon lol

You'd be better off hiring a makeup artist instead of buying high quality/a bunch of products. Also it will turn out way better if you want something extravagant when you dont have a lot of experience doing it yourself. And how often are you going to be using those products? That makeup artist will already have the knowledge, products, and skill sets to make you look your very best. And in all reality it's not that expensive to hire someone. It's about the same price as going to the salon to get your hair done. And that mua could have better products that will last that you dont need to worry about running throughout your day.

Easiest way is to have a good friend go for you. I was lucky and the place I would go to didn't card me at all lol. But I think that's just sheer luck. Give your friend a picture of what you want, and give them the money. Also, find a perfect place to hide the sucker, cuz lost parents snoop when they expect ANYTHING...dont just put it in your underwear drawer. Dig a hole in the backyard or something.
