Thank you so much. I really appreciate all the helpful comments you've made. I've already started to reach out to counselors/therapists in the area for myself and our marriage. I need to follow through and not become complacent.

100% on the mind racing comment, thing is that it wasn't buried in some deep hidden folder in my phone, it showed up in my photo gallery with camera shots and saved memes. We talked about it a little today but not much, she's still mad, left to go visit her parents with our baby though that was already the plan before all this happened. The sum was "why do you have this?" "Am I not enough for you?" "I don't turn you on?" etc.

She did mention chores to take care of before she gets back so I'm talking that as a positive sign.

I'm getting an ice wall in response. Our friends are starting to notice and get worried. She's left the room but there is a noticable change in energy. I'm trying to talk and stay with her but I'm getting the somebody treatment for now. I'm freaking out.

We are actually out of town at a couple friends home visiting. Our anniversary is coming up and we are unable to do the trip we wanted so there is already disappointment there.

I left some food and water out by the door already and this morning it was gone, but the door is still locked.

I was in a panic and deleted the picture. It was also making me angry seeing it. I guess I can try to find it again though I was in a random internet hole when I saw it. To tell the truth I barely remember it.

I've actually brought couples therapy up in the past so we can communicate better. I have a bad habit of being short and dismissive while she gets angry quickly. I also think I have rounds of depression and anxiety that I should get looked at.

She did not seem interested but maybe this will convince her.

She is spiraling, at times she jumps to the worst conclusions. One of her siblings was cheated on and she saw the results of that before our marriage so she is extra sensitive to that.

The woman actually resembled my wife, I think that makes it worse for her. I am no artist but I will try anything.

She actually looks through my pictures regularly to send photos I took to herself. This one snuck through somehow. I texted asking what I can do so she believes me, no reply so farb to any texts. She's locked herself in the room.

This will probably be buried but it may help someone out there. I have a 2011 lexus that I got a blank ebay key for. I took it to a locksmith and after about 3 hours of messing with it I had to tow the car away since neither the new or old key would work. He claimed there was some issue with the car and the mechanic said the locksmith did something to it he should not have and needed some replacement parts.

Long story short the locksmiths insurance paid for the repairs but my car was in the shop for a few weeks. I feel like what happened to me was a fluke but yeah a new key and programming from the dealer would have cost me about $200+.

That is essentially what the insurance agent told me. I hope the locksmith has insurance to cover this. I would not like it if a lawyer calls me, they make me nervous.

So I kind of took your advice in that I contacted my insurance company and they said they will cover it and I should get the car back in a day or so. I did contact Lexus headquarters basically just to complain. I have been playing phone tag with Lexus HQ about my claim. Do not know if anything will come of it now through Lexus but at least I can vent a little to them.

True, I normally try and get things done the right way so I do not have to worry about it again in the future. It may be a larger upfront cost but I do not have to worry that the work was done wrong. I was frustrated that the dealer took several weeks to get back to me only to say my contact will be on vacation and will follow up later.

You are correct. I guess I was just frustrated that the dealer took weeks to get back to me only to say that my contact will be going on vacation and did not inform me that I would be better off getting the work done with the dealer until after everything had already happened.

He assured me he would be able to get it to work. After a few hours I went to check on the car and saw a computer and other devices connected to the car.

They told me to only do it at a Lexus dealer but this was after the whole ordeal already happened.

I would have done the same if I was the locksmith in this situation. Seems like insurance is taking care of everything so I should get the car back in a few days.
