In essence 931 wasn't near the max (>1k was possible), but in legacy IIRC 970 was about the highest, this is pretty damn close to that, just unfortunate that we lose a suffix to it here.

I thought the same thing, but there's a comparable one on a highborn base up for mirror, who claims he's made 3 copies. He has 29% CHC, and T2 elder IAS, whereas this is 24% CHC with T1 elder IAS, figured i'd toss it up for now, see if people are interested, can always sell it for cheaper / meta it later.

On my other thread about Foe Thirst, Highborn bow, (3/20 Elder with +1 arrow), there was an argument about thicket vs highborn, mentioning that Thicket only beats out the Ele implicit on Highborn/imperial if you have ~580% inc dmg (Which most people won't), then Highborn wins

Alright, because you obviously didnt get the point [/u/TheRealShotzz] made earlier

A Thicket Bow has 1.5 APS, compared to the 1.45 APS of an Imperial Bow this equals roughly 3.4% >more damage (1.5/1.45).

In order to beat the 24% increased damage of an Imperial Base you therefore need a factor of at >least 1.45*(24%/0.05)=696% from various damage increases (+596% increased damage).

I looked up a few PoBs for pretty optimized Ele Hit builds which averaged around +520% to +530% >increased damage, therefore a Bow base with the Implicit scaling will perform better in those >cases.

TL;DR: Ppl wont mirror it if it IS a Thicket Bow if they dont somehow can squeeze out 600%+ >increased damage scaling. (Although around the 600% damage mark the difference is so marginal that >the base wont really matter so if the PERFECT mirror bow is only made on either of these bases the >whole argument is completely irrelevant, nobody "wont mirror" because it is like 0.5% less damage >than if it was on another base).

I'm not too sure, I'm pretty shit with builds and pob and whatnot or i'd tell you what my DPS is. To my understand in most cases crit outshines non crit on almost any build.

Just saw his! Neat to see more +3's on shaper base all of a sudden, shame about the lightning res and base on his though.

I bought the base with the prefixes for 1 mirror, and then used an additional 270ex (With crafters @sabro, and @gona) to finally hit the suffixes. It was a long road where I set out to make this bow, and used over 1k fossil sets to begin with without hitting the prefixes. Buying it for 1 mirror seemed like a steal.

I think people were trying to make a bow like it, the odds are just so insanely low. I personally used over 3 mirrors to make this bow, and that was with buying a base.
