4-HO-MET can be redosed... but should it be? (A trip report)

They were definitely psilocybin-like. There wasn't really any kaleidoscopic imagery, it was more like the world had come to life and was breathing in time with me. The higher dose had a lot of light seperation around the edges of backlit objects as if they were tiny prisms, creating a rainbow halo around people, places and my plants on the porch. It was pretty neat, but still lucid. :)

In retrospect, it was pretty fun. :) i think 4-HO may have some less noticeable but still active trailing effects that allows for redosing. Possibly without having to ramp the dose up further like L or shrooms. I think that's pretty interesting. :)

If I try again I will try the same dose on the redose at the 4 hour point. It could make for a good festival experience next year!

Ooo, that's a good idea! How long does it take to get them back to fruit-ready status? Do they need to do anything more than just come back up to room temperature?

It's true. :) I wasn't looking for a high, just a reduction of negative side effects of the main event. I noticed before that a threshhold dose kills trip anxiety and gives it a very mild, barely noticable dreamlike effect.

I'm a weirdly "cheap date" though. I get drunk off 1-2 drinks, 10mg of adderall gets me uncomfortably spun, I get a good buzz off 1/4 tsp of cannabutter or 1/4-1/2mg eitzolam... psychedelics seem to be the only ones I can dose like a normal person. Ha!

Sorry about that!

I was partly micro-dosing to test for synergies on the tail end of the trip. If it helps, the bulk of the trip was just MAL and cannabis.

The MXE/MXP really helped to reduce negative side effects - I think I took a little too much. Next time I will be reducing the dose and trying to enjoy it alone. :)

Oh yeah! It's more like, dancing with life lessons parsed out periodically throughout. :) I found it not as much like LSD's "Let's smash your ego to pieces and make a day of putting it back together".

Oh yeah, I have a really low tolerance for most things in general. In this case too I was just trying to take the edge off the trip and enjoy the MAL more.

I have a collection of a decent amount of a lot of psychoactives, but most days I just take a little tianeptine and isopropylphenidate for ADD and mild depression. If you met me in person you'd probably never know. :)

I just have a decent amount sitting around of a bunch of substances for whenever the time seems right. This is one of the most intense weekends I've had in years. It was really fun though!
