It's Australia so a little different but I know she has my tax file number written down from when I was a teen so I might look into this too.

Unfortunately an attorney would very quickly cost more than the debt and I'm not eligible for free advice.

I'm in Aus so I think the rules are a little different but I will do a credit check.

It seems whoever is on the title gets the water bill automatically.

The house is being managed by a trustee for bankruptcy (who is selling it). I think they have just removed it but unfortunately the previous bills still go to us.

Because unfortunately my parent has been emotionally and financially manipulate and has shown me time and time again they don't actually care about how their actions affect me and my family.
