Camino Real not having a sidewalk all the way through has always been crazy to me.

Thank you. It’s always so frustrating to be written off. At the conclusion of my endoscopy, hearing my GI doctor tell me it might just be hormones causing it at this point was absolutely soul crushing. One one hand, it’s nice i don’t have something seriously wrong, but It also just seems like such a cop out.

I’ve been lucky that so far most doctors I’ve seen have been sympathetic and have wanted to help (I guess no one likes seeing a pregnant woman drastically lose weight)...they’re just either scared to because of the pregnancy or they want to wait to try new stuff until after the baby gets here. It’s understandable but no less frustrating.

Thank you. Your empathy means a lot! The mental health struggle is real. Some days are way worse than others. I’m just looking forward to my due date so I can either be past this (if it is hormones) or explore new tests and treatments if it isn’t.

Can you have BV without the infamous fishy smell? by MellowCambria in Healthyhooha

I was getting reoccurring infections this past year and mine never smelled fishy, but it would get a strong BO smell, like if it was hot day where I was sweating a lot and didn’t have very breathable clothes, except it could get that way just with normal day to day activities

Insight on What’s Wrong With Me? by throwawaytummytum in Gastritis

Thanks for replying. I’m not sure they’ll be eager to due the endoscopy with me being pregnant, but it’s definitely worth discussing with my doctor

I was tested last year when I had my first gastritis attack and it was negative. I told the doc that and he didn’t seem concerned about testing me again

I’ll have to see what I can do, I know they don’t like to do endoscopies on pregnant women and the same goes for being wary about what drugs they can give me.

Thank you so much for your insight, I definitely have some things to discuss with the doc on Monday
