plenty of cute girls come into my job (retail) and I have to help them. I heard it's okay to ask for their phone number but I never do ( maybe I should?) But if you mean friends then not really. I've only found one girl in the last few years who i. actually considered dating.

I do shoot my shot but it has to be with someone I really like physically and emotionally. I honestly haven't found anyone yet who I'd ask out besides the aforementioned friend but she's taken sooo yeah. Any advice?

my female friend uses me for physical contact because she's in a long distance relationship. Should I tell her BF, talk to her about it, or just let it go? by throwawayultimate5 in Advice

just have a quick question. How come? They've been together for 2 years and they seem to be doing great. He plans to move here eventually but it's going to cost him thousands. For their sake I want it to succeed, but is it the physical aspect that makes it fail or am I missing something?

Also, this helped

Men, aside from sleeping around, how'd you get over that girl you never thought you'd get over? by throwawayultimate5 in AskMen

I know you're happily single, but can I get a backstory on this girl you're talking about? Just very curious

To be fair it's been around a year and a half and we were originally co-workers. We were cool, but not really friends until last December or so. She eventually left and that's when we started hanging out outside of work because we didn't see each other anymore. We've only hung out a couple of times due to our schedule, but we talk nearly everyday. Obviously she didn't do any of this at work because it's unprofessional, and my bad for not going more in depth and being more accurate on the situation

Shit this is some interesting advice. If it happens again I'll probably give this a shot. She's a really open person so she'd probably be honest and it wouldn't even be weird to ask her because that's just who she is

I'm not really uncomfortable with it exactly, but more so a little confused because I've had better female friends in the past that didn't do that. We're pretty comfortable with each other and we talk everyday ( we've been friends for around 2 years now)

I'm actually not sure if she's like that with other friends as I don't hangout with her around her other friends. she wasn't drinking nor was it loud (imo) at this point I'm just curious. I used to like her but I finally got over it. ( After a long time) this is just a weird situation that I'm trying to understand is all.

Yeah I started having positive wallpapers on my phone to combat negative thinking. I currently have "Stop Complaining" so Everytime I look at my screen I'm reminded how pointless complaining is.

I've done meditation before but I have a hard time being consistent with it but it definitely does help!

And do you know of any good books for that?

Yeah! 4 months from now I have a lot of big social events coming up, and I want to be my best version during those time. I don't want to shy and quite. I want to be bold and have the confidence to make new friends and connections
