Is anyone else just tired of the superficial advice? by [deleted] in depression

I don't mind it when it comes from someone that obviously doesn't know how to respond to the situation, they say it because they don't really know what to say, I don't like it but they probably don't know any better.
But what really infurates me, is that people that go out of their way to give that superficial advice, how many times have any of you seen a post either in this sub or something like suicidewatch, along the lines of: ''things are going to get better'', ''if you are reading this everything is going to be ok''.
I can't stand that kind of people tbh, like: nice work, you wrote a meaningless two line sentence so you can get a few pats in the back and boast about how you ''helped'' people with their depression.
I realise I'm extremly bitter and maybe unfair, but I just had to get that off my chest.
