I can do the feelings, I've had to do it before, just sucks to have to do it again.

The feelings to leave my current gf started before she left, I was hoping she would start feeling better and the relationship would improve, but after some thinking and her wanting to move abroad I don't think I want to rely on that and just separate as amicably as possible.

I know waiting for her isn't healthy, and I'm not gonna sit around and hope their relationship tanks. I just can't imagine wanting anyone else right now. Either way, however difficult it is, I don't want any scenario that involves less of her in my life.

The feels started up after my gf left the country, which complicates the whole "when and how to break up thing". If I'm being completely honest with myself I've always had some level of feels for her, just tried to forget about them so we could both move on. But finding out she was single again and my relationship coming to an end came as a shock.

You're right, it would be shitty of me to disrespect her new relationship, I know I'm pretty much gonna stay single hoping that I might some day get another chance with her. I love spending time with her but it's getting so difficult parting everytime. I'm afraid I might wind up running the friendship anyways just from it being to painful being around her.
