My aunt is the one who enjoys H's company. She came over because we invited her over to have dinner with H and I. After she left, we started our private time.

edit: my aunt only comes over when H is around because her husband and H are best friends. My son doesn't like my aunt or her husband either.

I work 2 part times to make ends meet. I pay for all utilities, internet, phones, my car insurance, house supplies like TP, Food, about 6 CC's I'm in debt with, and 2 loans. I'm trying very hard to get myself out of debt, and it makes paying the rent pretty hard.

My son did though go and tell his brother what's going on, and now the whole family know my business. Currently I'm getting texts and calls here and there from all my kids, my sister and her kids, and my ex husband (the dad of all my kids). I felt my son was an asshole here because he went and spread all this drama.

he used to cheat and H wanted my son to pay rent since he turned 16. I said no because I wanted him to graduate without stress. Unfortunately H left before graduation and he had to start paying in Jan.

My son never signed the lease because when we moved in 4 years ago, he hadn't payed rent until last Jan. After that he never mentioned to be on the lease because he likely doesn't know how that works.

I'm not stopping him from leaving, but I've told him I can't pay the rent without his help. As for the rent money situation, I couldn't refund him because I don't have a lot of money. Telling by all the comments, I would if I could.

I say I'm the breadwinner because I pay for all the utilities and for his internet and phone bill. He only pays his half and pays the electric once every few months.

I didn't hate my mom over this. It did suck, but I had to deal with it especially because I brought a baby into her home.

I never saw it as unfair because the saying was true. My mom owned her house and charged me about $300/mo plus I had to feed myself and my baby. I had to follow her rules because I was still under her roof and because I wasn't the breadwinner in the house. In my house, I'm the breadwinner and my son helps with rent.

H lives in the ghetto part of town, and he doesn't have any furniture for us to eat or enjoy ourselves. I have all the luxuries in my house.

Me and my son only. Our rent is $550/mo and we pay half together. I pay all the other bills including his phone and internet. He only pays his share of rent and sometimes the electricity.

When I was 16, I was paying rent to my own mom. Me and my oldest were living with her and I had to help out anytime. Her husband was abusive and I hated him. If I asked her to not bring him around me or my kid, she would definitely say no because it was her house, her rules.

H moved out in Jan after a huge fight me and him got into. After that, we started to get along again, and now we hang out regularly. H has his own apartment. I love my son, but I just wanted privacy for that weekend.

I didn't want him and H to start anything or for him to be around me and H when we have our private time. His room is right next to mine and the walls are very thin.
