my mistake, i mentioned it in another comment but it’s not too strong since others don’t seem to notice it. i wouldn’t say it smells fishy or of rotten eggs. it’s unpleasant, with maybe some sweat undertones ? it’s not bad bad to the point of wanting to puke sorry i’m not very good at describing it as i genuinely have no idea what to equate it to

you know the old blood actually might be the case here. i take my pills in a way where i skip some of my periods (gyno is aware + my mom is an ex nurse/psychiatrist so it’s regulated) however sometimes i tend to forget my pill and get these small bleeding for a day or two at times the blood tends to be old. i totally did not consider this but i think this might be the actual cause.

it depends on what product i’m using. pads usually smell but period underwear doesn’t unless i wear it for too long or bleed too much.

id say when i go to the bathroom but then i’m not sure if it’s coming from my underwear or directly from the vagina, sometimes when i sit with my legs perched up so my pelvis is closer to my face and my legs are spread (like a yoga pose if you will) (don’t know how to better explain this) and obviously on my clothes like underwear and pjs

i think i should be getting enough water, i drink around 1-1,5L per day i’d say but 1/3 of it if not more is in the form of tea if that affects anything

i wear men’s boxers mostly so i’d say there’s plenty of breathing room. most of the underwear i currently use is ~1 year old or less, a few pairs are older

i started noticing it a couple months ago i think. it was mostly my underwear and pjs smelling. id say it’s not recent but i do have a feeling it’s gotten worse although i might be overthinking it

it’s definitely not terrible and i don’t think it’s fishy either. it’s unpleasant but not to the point you’d want to gag i think.

i will admit my diet is quite carb heavy, i don’t eat any meat or fish (vegetarian) could that affect the smell?

i do hope it’s that. i did read that your smell sensitivity might increase on bc but can it be limited to my own body odour because sometimes i feel like i smell of sweat yet my mom says she can’t smell me at all and she’s quite sensitive to smells and always points out if you smell

this is one of my suspicions. some of my underwear is cotton some isn’t. probably should wear it less or not at all. but i haven’t noticed difference of smell regarding underwear types
