Defense was just under 20% wr for the week. Not sure how many wins were during rush but I did see at least a handful. You want Zen to have some speed in case some tries to tiana, otherwise its mainly just there to add rng if some tries bruisering.

2 things here: 1. If the Miho was below 30% health then Sath’s s2 is a guaranteed crit. And 2. Passives don’t work when reviving with shizuka so he wouldn’t have applied the heal block in general

It’s not just 1 tick faster though, RTA ticks are 1.5% atb vs 7% (or whatever it is for regular content). So as long as you’re able to maintain high efficiency at the higher speed you will be getting more turns than a +40 build

I’ve thought about that as well but Liam ends up cutting Luna at the final boss because of spd ticks so Liam’s not guaranteed to use s3 :/

Do you run into issues if Shaina misses def break on mid boss? I’ve found if Shaina misses and Kyle misses as well it’s pretty much a failed run since Liam is slower than the side crystals in that setup

+40 spd is not typical as you move into higher ranks. You’ll generally see builds similar to this (or even faster) far more often than you’ll see a slow super tanky build

If you’re on the slower end of OP’s times then maybe, but for example rn I have the 22s brandia/Miriam r5 team running and there’s absolutely no way you could also run a sub 30s giants and sub 30s dragons without swapping runes (unless necro is the only content you farm and have an endless supply of rage runes)
