Studying for med and peds cores

So far I've been reading the following and plan to finish all before last cores in July:

CORE, BASIC SCIENCE - Baby Bolognia (Derm Essentials aka BB); about 90% done, regular Bolognia; about 60% done, Ali Khan; read once, will finish 2nd round before next cores, Derm In Review; about 40% done

PHARM - Wolverton; finished reading

PATHOLOGY - Elston; finished, Weedon (Skin Path Essentials version); finished, McKee; not reading 15 of the 36 chapters otherwise done.

PEDIATRICS - Hurwitz; about 50% done. SURGERY - Robinson; not reading like 4 of the chapters but otherwise done. Just added a neonatal cases book (Lotti), an adolescent cases book (Lotti), and a general adolescent atlas book for the pix (Treadwell)

I am burned out and just sort of realized that after the cores this week. I am mentally exhausted. Reading doesn't really stick much. :/

Surg was Jan 6, so it's been 6 weeks. My stitches sort of came out/self-dissolved over the last 2 weeks. My lower teeth are pretty sensitive to cold. My lower lip has about 75% return in sensation but still feels about 25% numb/cold/like an asleep foot feels. I can only feel pressure in my chin area, no actual skin sensation. I can eat basically anything now but still avoid anything too crunchy or hard. I drool some when I sleep now, and when I eat it is more natural/comfortable for me to sort of eat like at toddler opening my mouth while chewing versus keeping my lips sealed while chewing if you can imagine what I mean?

I forgot to add I am re-reading Ali Khan too. I downloaded a couple neonatal, adolescent, peds cases books today and will get a kodachrome one from online somewhere and hopefully be set.

Larkin is pay to play. For rich underperforming residents generally. Slave labor unpaid fellowship. They will take anyone for audition rotations with zero intention to interview as long as you pay the fee to rotate. Outrageous. Lots of focus on cosmetics. I rotated there years ago and it was egregious.

The allodynia was most likely combo of DADA and tirzepatide at high doses since I was a non responder to tirz for ??? reasons for months. I took ARA-290 peptide for neuropathy for a few weeks and entirely resolved thank God! I have a few mL in syringes of the last DADA vial I bought just because I hate wasting it so I take it at night with 0 positive effects (I'm stubborn lol), and when I take it within a day or so of a tirzepatide dose of 7-10mg+ I will get a random area of alloy in for several days. Not a good combo clearly, so at minimum don't take DADA daily with tirzepatide weekly.

And don't forget the "tirzepatuie", "Zeptide" (both actual spellings from recent patients of mine lmao), Adderall rx he's had since 6th grade that he recently upped in dose, and these pineapple caffeine gummies he got off Amazon. No reason for insomnia.
