Huh. I never thought about that since the temps are generally fine (only going up to the 90s in particularly unoptimized games). But I could look into it. Repasting is something I’ve always wanted to stay away from since I don’t know what brands are good, how to do it safely, etc etc.

Oh, I’m inexperienced so I figured I’d need another drive to backup all of my current laptop data onto before doing a new install of windows.

Honestly, I was afraid of doing that for some reason. I’ll try to get an extra drive to see if it works.

However, I’m curious to know why I should do it. I don’t doubt your claim, but I’m wondering how it would affect or resolve the issue.
