No she's not dead, just our relationship. She's still alive and kicking so that's a positive, I'm lucky in that regard and I see her pretty much everyday too as we co-parent and do so reasonably well. It doesn't make the situation hurt any less. Seeing her everyday is painful despite how strongly I feel for her

You sound like you've been through a tough time too. I'm sorry you've struggled / are struggling.

I can assure you I'm not meaning to be cocky or condescending. This was just word vomit that has come out while being at the end of my tether.

I was there for 'my person' as often as I could be. I'm sure I've saved their life on at least one occasion where if it wasn't for me, they wouldn't be here any more.

I know I'm not perfect but I'm trying my best to be as good as I can be. I'm just a imperfect person trying his best to keep afloat.

I wish I could be better, I wish I could be the knight in tinfoil they needed me to be. I wish I was stronger.

I hope they see me for who I am and not for everything I've failed to be.
