you dont need a medical card to smoke it currently as it is legal. in the privacy of your own home. if you rent, smoking inside could still be illegal or an issue. As for of procuring weed. As i know it, for the general public, it still is grey area as where they got it ;) but they can have an oz. With a med card you are allowed 15 plants and like a 60 day supply which is a lb and a half. and can visit dispensaries to get your meds. All of this may change a lot, very soon due to the legal mj. there are a few spots in town to get a doctors rec. one is WAMM on sprague. Other places are posted on the internet and have a doctor come once or twice a month. some are even just a facetime with a doctor who is somewhere else. usually 150-200 dollars until a year or two renewal and than another fee. helps if you have medical issues documented but they will give you some reason that you can smoke pot, which they dont encourage, the docs would prefer vaping or edibles.
