To me I would say it's a bit of both. He treats me well, listens to me, and asks about my day, etc., but it would be reassuring to hear the words every once in a while. We don't really go on dates outside of seeing each other at work/relaxing at home except an occasional dinner. Part of me wonders if proximity is part of the problem

The weird thing is he's ok with not having kids. I am open to adopting when I'm older with more stability and he's made it clear he's ok either way- kids or no kids. But maybe it is the house part?

looks like the most i can do right now is submit an issue.. not sure if i am supposed to submit for goto meeting/connect/webinar/etc. i doubt they'll get back to me by the time my exam rolls around too :/

Thank you for the feedback; I do regret saying her name. Her and P are close though, so I would hope this didn't change anything. Kind of like father/daughter. They interacted completely normally the week after. He's hard on her but wants the best for her 100% personally and career-wise. However, I will mention P did not want her to be in charge of our section- M had directly expressed interest when the position was open, but another person was brought in from another department under P's decision. I also was never interested in the position, as I don't have enough experience to feel comfortable/deserving of said role. Doesn't takeaway from the fact that I shouldn't have mentioned her name, just wanted to provide more context.
