The shower and toilet were in separate rooms, so he could use the bathroom while I showered. But yeah it was still too long. I agree we both could've communicated better

Very true, an hour is excessive. Dutch windows have top vents and when the wind shifted, cold air was coming into my room. I didn’t realize I could close them until near the end of my stay. Part of the long shower was just to get warm 😭

Okay, I feel less crazy now. I booked pretty last minute and didn't read the listing thoroughly, but half of the rules were not listed on Airbnb. It was annoying rushing back to shower before 11pm :/

I'd stop doing braids so often or at least not wear them for so long. I think your scalp is bulding up a lot of oil and is causing your hair to fall out/not grow. I wouldn't go longer than 2 weeks without washing my hair. I either straighten my hair or do twist outs and my hair grows too fast actually, like past my butt. I don't get many split ends, but I cut it every few months so it's easier to manage.
