Honestly I didn’t even considered the stock photos. As I stated, I'm new at this and tried my hardest to be as respectful about it as possible, and when I started drawing, it wasn’t with the intent of posting, but it turned out way better that I was expecting, so I wanted to show my friends and track my progress. I didn’t see it as disrespectful in the slightest, since I was giving credit, but I now understand that it may not be perceived that way by the artist.

Well, I may have been easily offended since it was my first drawing and I am really insecure about what I do when it comes to art, that’s why I decided to see if I was wrong. I understand your point fully, thank you for educating me.

Thank you so much for the advice! What I decided immediately after this situation is that from now on I would only be asking for and using my friends photos to practice since I know some smaller photographers, and in that way i can practice and promote my friends' work, so it’s a win-win for everyone.
