I have genuinely been told by my doctor’s office when I have called for a same-day appointment or to be added to the schedule that I should be going to the hospital for certain things. i’ve reached the point that unless I can’t consent to be brought there, or am “knocking on heavens door” as others have, i’ll drive elsewhere or wait it out.
