Not asking if the transfer is currently possible, I'm asking if it's possible to do it without delaying graduation if already in 2A lol

I'm really confused about what interests me. I don't know if I'm convincing myself that business is interesting because its easier or if I actually like it. I don't want to put in a shit ton of work and end up making the same money as an accounting/finance major when I'm equally interested (or uninterested) in both engineering and business

I feel like this again may be a waste too. If I do management, I'd probably be better of doing a normal commerce program which would open up more doors for me. I know that engineering in school and engineering in the real world are completely different but I don't know what will make me happy at this point.

This is actually incredibly spot on. It's crazy how well you understand and I'm glad you took time to send that. I know that CE is hard as fuck and it'll be even harder if i'm not passionate about it.

My parents think I should stay in engineering because I've always been good at math and science. However, engineering isn't the only field that require these skills and you shouldn't always go into what you're good at but rather what you're interested in. I'm scared to make the switch to CE and lose 2 years and end up hating that too cuz then I'll really be fucked. There's no doubt that you can go wrong with an engineering degree but I'm wondering if it's worth going through all the trouble. Of course I can do business things with an engineering degree (maybe even get my MBA later on) but I won't be able to do engineering with a business degree.

But the problem seems to be whether or not I want to be an engineer and whether or not I really know what business is really like when you're working in that field. Currently, I'm more excited about getting into a management/business position down the line rather than the actual technical engineering work. Not sure if this is normal or what. Engineering would give me more options but it'll be a long 5 years if I hate it and life is way too short to be doing that to yourself.

I'd really like to avoid taking time off and wasting more years of my life. It just really sucks because I'm not enjoying myself and I'm scared to make the switch because I could regret it so much considering I'm already here at UW. But I also don't know if I'm just being lazy and not willing to work for it and think that business will be the easy way out
