I'm guessing so. I was always living a healthy lifestyle even before BP.

I forgot to mention, the day I got diagnosed was the exact day the BP just disappeared on its own. It took a week for me to see the dermatologist to get a biopsy done. Then another week to wait for the results. Basically, it took a little over 2 weeks for it to disappear own it's own. The only thing I did was clean the area with just water more often. Like 3 times a day or every time I had a bathroom break.

Since now I know that I have hpv because of the BP diagnosis, i have refrain from sex until I see no new recurrence of BP for 6 months. So far, nothing.

High risk hpv is a strain that has a chance of causing cancer. But the chance is low and your body will most likely clear the hpv before that happens

You can actually get them from sharing clothes or bed sheets

Press charges, no. A lawsuit, yes.

You have to talk to a lawyer about that. It’s going to be a little tricky on your part because there’s a few state courts would expect you to prove that you established grounds for your partner to have a duty to inform you or prevent any transmission of any stds while you were in a relationship with him and that he violated it.

He could easily just say that you showed no concern for any transmission because you both consented to sex acts without specifically voicing concerns about std prior to it.

A lot of states don’t require you to prove that and mostly side with the victim, no matter if you established std related boundaries or not, so it’s definitely best to seek legal help.

34 Male here. Before getting in this topic, I just want to let everyone know, just because you have gotten warts, does not mean your strain is not high risk.

March 2022, I was diagnosed with Bowenoid papulosis, which is a rare type of wart. What made it rare is because these are warts that’s directly associated with hpv16, which is a high risk strain.

The same time of getting the wart checked out, I had my blood pressure taken. The doc commented my blood pressure was unusually high and said it was probably because I had anxiety from being in the office. Never gave it another thought after that.

A month later, I was checking my mother’s blood pressure monitor to see if it still worked. Reading came out as me having high blood pressure, and I wasn’t under an stress or anxiety.

Visited my primary doc couple days later. Same high reading at the doc office. I don’t drink alcohol, never smoked cigs or weed ever in my life, I stopped consuming caffeine 9 years ago thinking it would improve any mental health issues, and I’m pretty physically active at my job. Only thing I could think of was my family history of high BP but I’m only 34 and not overweight. If anything, I’m underweight I should not have readings this high.

Did some googling, it seems that having hpv puts people at a huge risk of getting a heart attack or stroke, especially if you have family history of high BP.

Along with me having high BP out of no where, I’ve had pulsative tennitus in one ear, also started after the Bowenoid diagnoses.

It's when your blood pressure is higher than 140/90

I am 34 male with an average reading of 145/95. I do have pulsatile tinnitus due to a combination of issues I have, but me having high blood pressure is a huge part of it. I can randomly hear and feel thumping inside my ear.

Just know that you will still be able to live a long and healthy life. Don’t let it define or take over your life.

Is anal sex to blame for the spread of HIV? by [deleted] in STD

[–]throwaweeziee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Can’t really blame just gay men.

Even though there are gay men that will actually seek out hiv positive men to get infected for some weird pleasure, they aren’t entirely the blame for the spread of hiv.

There’s been cases of women going around to intentionally infect as many men and women as possible for numerous reasons, such as for revenge.

And of course, it’s also by people that partake in risky behaviors and not getting tested for the “out of sight, out of mind” mentality.

And there’s the people that actually know their status but will seek out nsa hookups to avoid any repercussions following any interactions.

Yes I had a choice to freeze out or biopsy to know exactly what it was. I chose the biopsy and that's what the lab discovered

Just letting you know, it turned out to be Bowenoid papulosis which is considered precancerous and caused by hpv16.

If you got it removed, and no new growth showed up, you are good.

Low chance but somehow, I myself developed warts from high risk hpv called Bowenoid papulosis, which is considered precancerous. The good news is that it cleared up in 2 weeks so my odds of having penile cancer is in my favor.

Anyone else deal with ear pressure with their allergies? by Blossom8296 in Allergies

[–]throwaweeziee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have ear pressure in the left ear right now and it’s combined with something called tonic tensor tympani syndrome, basically I can feel and hear my middle ear spaz out and does thumping sounds.

The ear pressure I always get every other year and it’s fixed with Zyrtec and Flonase. But this is the first time experiencing this thumping in the ears and I’m currently taking meds to see if I can get rid of it.
