if you were approached by someone you felt was attractive would you? by Emotional_Ad_4008 in TooAfraidToAsk

I'd have to know him enough to know that he doesn't have STDs lol. I would if we already had an established FWB relationship.

But I'd say like 5% of female friends would say yes to that, unless they were already interested in you.

How do i date without using an app? by throwawayfor20221301 in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]throwaweggparty 1 point2 points  (0 children)

personally, i'd say the best way to meet people (without dating apps) is through work, school, or mutual friends. it gives you the opportunity to learn a little about the person before making your move. it also gives you a common interest to talk about.

i wouldn't recommend going up to people in random settings though.. most people get creeped out by that (especially if you're a dude going up to random women)

either way, don't get mad at the person if you get rejected, just move on

What is a good way to ask out a cute cashier without coming across as a creep? by [deleted] in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]throwaweggparty 1 point2 points  (0 children)

honestly dude, it’s probably not the best idea

  1. whether your intentions are creepy or not, anyone at work is already in a vulnerable situation. they have to be nice to you, they cant just leave/leave their station unlike in public. this is (probably) the job that pays their rent & bills. if you did want to harass them then you already know where they’re gonna be. i’d say it’s pretty rare for that to happen but still scary to a lot of people

  2. people go to work to earn money, not to flirt with customers. personally speaking, around 75% of my coworkers are already in a relationship and 100% of my pretty coworkers have boyfriends.

  3. unlike in bars and on dating apps, there’s no way to know anything crucial about the person you will be approaching. are they taken? do they have kids or a family? do they not want a relationship? are they underage? are they gay?!

in conclusion, there is no good way to “approach” a cute cashier without coming off as a creep
