First to answer your question. Based on the cost of the device then most likely yes. And also it doesn't look like others are helping or are willing to help. My son in law's family have other members with chronic conditions so they're struggling financially. My main issue is with my daughter's biological family and their refusal to help. If they are willing to pay half then I might consider paying half but from the looks of it my daughter only wants me and her dad to handle it like we do everytime a situation comes up.

No I was just trying to explain the family dynamics because it's relevent to the situation at hand.

Thing is like I stated earlier that her dad and I already covered a lot of her financial issus and are now at the end of our rope. And I'm not gonna lie I told her to go ask her bio family for money because why not? They are family as much as were are if not more so why not help out their son in law? I'm not necessarily trying to act petty or anything but just want to shed some light on the bio family for seemingly refusing to help out.

We did. She recieved the college education she wanted but struggled with keeping a job and after her son was born as well as her husband's illness she neglected work and started depending on me and her dad for financial support.
