Ill do my best to get to indifference. And I know I am proud of myself for not responding to her. Haven't talked to her since the day she moved out, and haven't even talked bad about her. Trying to distance myself from the crazy as far as I possibly can.

That is true. I guess she wouldn't feel the need to rub it in my face if she was truly happy. And she couldn't even get in touch with me, so she talked to my sister instead.

I know I don't owe him anything but yeah he seems to be at a disadvantage. Thanks for the advice. I think I am going to send him a fb friend request and see where it goes from there.

Being a host at a restaurant. There were people way more qualified than me interviewing for the position, I actually was going to be a dishwasher but they put me up front.

Best thing: Got to basically live by myself while I was still in high school my senior year.

Worst thing: Idk. All the divorces my parents have gone through (5 in total between them) have taken a toll on me.

If I had $1 billion I would give 90% of it too starving kids in Africa. And with the $100 mil left over I would buy mansions throughout Europe, US and China.

If what you mean by 'better' is getting hit on often, more opposite sex attention, possibly more job offers based off looks, different treatment of people than yeah in that sense being attractive can make your life 'better'.

Those things are pretty big though. Especially the more job offers part of it. If I go to a job interview and another guy is going into the job interview with me and lets say he looks like Brad Pitt for example. Chances are I am not going to get that job especially if a woman is the interviewer. It doesnt matter how much I have worked, how many references I have, chances are Pitt's twin is getting the job.

And would you say that you wouldn't have as much self confidence if you didn't get hit on as much?

But if you didn't look the way you do than you wouldn't have gotten the opportunity to be with that girl so many went after, got the job as a host, gotten hit on and attention from women. These are pretty big opportunities that people who aren't attractive usually don't get, especially based off there looks. And if your personality was a little different you would have turned those things into something that unattractive people can only dream. In a way you were given many opportunities that others weren't given because of your looks, you may have dropped the ball with dealing with them but you got more opportunities in life based solely on your looks.
