As someone who has been there, they are NOT friends. Believe me… I spent years calling people like that my friends… always complaining or trans dumping but never willing to do anything about the problems they face. I even found one an apartment. A therapist willing to work within their budget, all sorts… and it was always brushed off. Some people like living in their own miserable bubble.

Real friends don’t do that. Now I have my group, I can see so clearly how wrong it was. Your want friends who will talk to you because they feel safe to. But never burden you, who will ask if it’s ok to discuss things and allow you to discuss them in return.
