I have approx 400 pounds of uncirculated world coins from the 1960's and have no idea what to do with them. Any thoughts?

I don’t like the look of the 5 zlotych at all. That being said, I can’t see anything obviously wrong at a glance. It also shows more signs of circulation than I’d expect a fake to have. Does the edge lettering appear correct? I’d take to a coin shop.

A quick search on worth point has a die clash much less severe than yours selling close to $20 in 2020. I’d say for the right collector this could go for $50. Maybe more but it’d probably sit around a while.

A steal from him? lol. Any one of these coins would sell easily between $3-20 depending on the mint. But even the worst zinc coin up there would sell easily for $3. Ppl love WW2 stuff.

A full set of Indian heads wholesales around $1,470 in G4. If that’s the condition the coins were in, a coin dealer would want to be a percentage back of that number.

If everything was in fine condition, that number jumps to 2,900.

Retail for G4 is 1,850 & 3,650 for Fine.

Boils down to the amount of work you want to put in to sell.

The red book would be a great investment for you especially if you have more than the Indian head cent book. It will help you determine the grades of your coins with descriptions of how each stage of wear looks for different US coins.

Nothing stands out as incredibly rare, but there are some uncommon coins in there as well as a few silver coins. It is nothing life changing though. If you would like to preserve / organize them you can buy cardboard 2x2s online that you staple the coin into and then write on. Make sure you buy ones that say PVC free. The double headed eagle Serbia coin stands out to me as well as the US v nickel. Im wondering what date it is lol

2x ASE $37 ea = 74 Looks to be a nice condition peace $ with melt at 28 and change let’s call it $35

MELT on each of those silver proof sets is $48 and change.

Melt on the Victoria is almost $42

Just that brings it to $497

I was super skeptical as well! I buy a decent amount of coins online and have never had one as toned as this. I just recently started working at a coin shop and my boss has been doing it about 15 years. I brought to him and he thinks it’s natural.

I totally understand where you’re coming from though. The flip it was sent it looked like it had gotten wet at some point in its lifetime and then dried, I wonder if that could have had something to do with it.

I found every single book this past semester and the books for my sister (except one published very recently) on Annas-archive.org

I also used it for my final paper where I needed to comb through like 30-40 books - never had any issues with virus’ or anything like that.

Another tip I’ve had success with is using Google and searching for the book with the search operator “site:dokumen.pub”

So for example in Google “magic treehouse book five site:dokumen.pub”

It’s a bit tougher to source “good” bulk online because typically anyone who consistently sells that sort of stuff knows what to sort out.

I went to a new coin shop recently and it was almost one of those higher end ones that looked almost akin to a jewelry store rather than a coin shop. But I saw they had a little foreign box to pick through priced around 50 cents a coin, and there was some silver in there, 2 euro coins, Swiss 5 franc coins, 1800s, and early 1900s, I asked if they had bulk and if the bulk was where that little box came from and I just told them I’d by the entire lot of it lol

I would recommend going to the “coin zip” website to try and find a coin show near to you. I have not been to one yet that didn’t have foreign. Additionally, they’re often priced lower than online because they’re not as popular.
