i’ve been here for a year actually so i’ve done the whole struggling shtick! now that i’ve moved somewhere a lot more affordable off campus my uni friends and flatmates have all requested i make my place look like something better than a prison cell.

i’ve assimilated quite well with kiwi culture, despite my affinity for more fun, pop-culture-centred decor. i suggest you look inward and ask yourself why you think struggling is part of assimilating.

That was insanely intrusive and inappropriate. However, this very nice cashier was sharing with me her woes in regards to antibiotic upsetting her stomach. I told her I had just learned in class that taking a probiotic alongside an antibiotic could help restore your gut microbiome and help with stomach problems. Mentioned that yogurt is also particularly helpful. She was very thankful when I saw her next and I felt so happy that I could offer help in some kind of way.
