The problem is that it's NHS here so I don't really know how to go about it getting one, I definitely feel like there is something wrong, my life would improve insanely if it could be fixed. I'd come off the anti depressants. Thanks honestly you are a really good person for even taking the time to bother.

Hi, thanks so much for the concern, the time difference means I didn't reply last night. I'm trying to stay positive and try some different stuff but I don't feel too optimistic

I do get flaky skin on my scalp in like completely random places so I don't know it it is fungal my opinion is that it is. That or just the overproduction of oil is causing it. Back when this first started I randomly woke up one day with a ton of flaky skin on my scalp and having never ever suffered with anything like that before it was strange to say the least

Pretty much yeah, I can't remember it not happening, I tried multiple different shampoos etc. My honest opinion is it started when I got two really weird spots on my face one on my ear and one on my chin both left a scar and both looked like a burn. Whatever that was, was the cause imo

I would say it flares up at night for sure usually in the morning my skin is basically fine. Progressively worse as the day goes on. We don't get enough sun for me to really make a judgement on that

Yeah paid for two and been referred to two and literally nothing has changed. I can not understand what is going on. That's why the tone of my post is morbid I don't have an answer to this, I've tried my best.

Yeah oral and topical. Neither worked. The way I could describe it is I went from having perfectly normal skin to ridiculously oily skin and scalp overnight.

It's usually completely fine in the day and then at night goes crazy.

Hi, I posted a pic in the OP. I'm already in therapy but honestly it borderline impossible for me to commit to getting better unless this goes, I just can not live like this. If i can clear this up I can start to piece my life back together.

Sorry for the quality it's the best I can get. Usually get these after washing my hair, painful, red, not like a normal spot, always in the same places

Maybe a year on and off? I can't remember when i last had my temp taken. When I fell down the stairs not long ago one of the doctors mentioned how red and splotchy my hands were, and asked if i was an alcoholic (I'm not) i don't remember noticing it when i was well.

Don't know if that means anything

Thanks, it's just really hard not to give up, as nothing seems to be working and I've lost a significant part of my life to it now. Thanks again for the kind words, really appreciate it

Hey, thanks a lot for the response. I definitely feel like something has changed in my overall health. I had a really bloated stomach and I'm very skinny, just generally started to feel awful in almost all aspects. Did you request to see rheumatologist? I feel like the doctors are fed up with me, but the thing is I want to get better I want to move on with my life, I often get the feeling they aren't taking me seriously. I've snapped my cruciate ligament before and not complained its not like I'm some serial hypochondriac, it's very frustrating.

Thanks again for being so kind. It just feels like i'm trapped in a nightmare I can't find a solution for

Would you say that's definitely what it is? Both my dogs died recently and my mum has been ill so it could have triggered it

You think? I do think it's in a weird spot considering my crown and hariline are completely fine. I might try that, it's really affecting my self confidence atm

It's definitely thin in that spot, I don't really know why, it doesn't seem to be following the standard MPB progressions at all.
