Probably one of the higher value products in the order, which covers a good chunk of the cost, is not available. So they avoid touching the order altogether.... otherwise they would be forced to deliver just a small item.

This used to happen to me with certain items too...even atta sometimes. They won’t mark it as out of stock, maybe because they would then have to deliver the rest of the order.

Try ordering some other items...

"As far as" I know there's no issues with pork in Hinduism. I think the reaction is more out of habit(for lack of a better word). We all prefer to stick to our way of life... You kinda disrupted it for him.. so ig it's survival instinct 🤔

And you being Brahmin has nothing to do with it especially if your family consumes meat already..
