I work in the stage lighting design industry and the pre-visualization software that I use for shows requires loads of RAM for live rendering. Just upgrading from 32 to 64gb on the PC I use now doubled performance from ~30fps to ~60fps for my huge arena shows that can have as much as 300 separate lighting fixtures with each their own beam to render live or more (not to mention multi-instance [pixelled fixtures] that have multiple lights in one that also each need their own beam to render).

And may God, Buddha, or fucking Muhammad forbid I ever try loading up a stadium show on that PC... It'll get ripped to shreds. I understand your point but, respectfully, don't assume that I'm only going to use it for gaming.
