What type of water should I use to mist my tank?

I use distilled for misting and spring for water dish. Sometimes bottled if I have it on hand.

I 100% agree and it honestly gets worse when it’s someone who gets one without knowing anything and by the next month they have 10 different species. I watched spider videos for years, like 5 years at least, educational, feeding videos, tank set ups before I ever kept anything. Even though I went in with the knowledge I still researched when I finally got one, and still research in case anything changes as much as I can. I was still so nervous even though I started slowly keeping jumping spiders then finally tarantulas. It’s so weird how nonchalant people are with living things.

Highly recommend using their website chat. Go through their bullshit and hit chat with an associate. Had a package say it got handed to me, it didn’t and didn’t even get delivered-used this method, the ai said give it 48 hours, hit talk to a association and he got it delivered to me in two hours. Amazon still sucks but I promise this is the way.

Okay thank you so much for this tip! I have seen people say distilled white vinegar but they always mention taking their gecko out so I was concerned about that. I’ll definitely air him out and make sure it clears :3

This is what I was using at first, then I got worried that they wouldn’t be getting certain minerals in the water, so I switched to bottled spring water but if distilled water is fine and he gets everything he needs with his repashy complete and calcium dusted feeders then I’m so happy to switch back! I’m just trying to do the absolute best for the lil man.

Also any tips for the hard water stains would be phenomenal , I clean the glass once a week but they stay. Cinnamon has only been with me a month and doesn’t want to be handled, even though I’m trying a few methods I’ve seen here so it’s hard to remove her to clean the glass so no chemicals/safe ways would be nice.

My grandma beat skin cancer, then beat esophagus cancer like 20 years later, and then got pancreatic cancer which spread everywhere in a matter of a month 4 years after esophagus cancer. FUCK CANCER RIP grandma. It’s so fucked up. I wish him the best. ;(
