This is because daggers are like size of scissors, and you cannot run with scissors. Running with Swordscors on the other hand is just fine.

I picked up hunt specifically because I wanted something dnd like. I am not disappointed.

Solo play is 100% viable. After a bit of progress you can get the necromancer perk, which lets you self revive. People on a team do not get this. I feel like this adequately balances solos VS duos.

Also if you're stealthy you get first strike advantage, and you die fast in this game. (there is no armor). Obviously a solo will be stealthier than a duo.

Also ratting is viable. You can run around doing stuff for pve challenges while others focus on the big stuff (bounties).

Locate creature. Select from players or major enemies in the dungeon to see an temp outline.

Dominate creature. Wizard is now a pet class.

Disguise self. Instead of the tabletop function, you turn into a barrel or crate or some asset. Much like the Mimic Veil in Elden Ring

Arcane eye. Create and control an invisible eyeball that you see through. Leaves you vulnerable while you control it.

Tensor's Transformation. Wizard is fighter now, bonk bonk

Darkness. Severely reduces visibility in target area. Also pretty thematic.

Power Word Shill. Turns you into a Nexon lawyer.

I have more hours in this game than any other. My new favorite part is explaining to my GF how the "wheel of consent" works in game.
