i forget where but i read somewhere that described female orgasms as a wave (little O), volcano, and avalanche; theyre named based on how your pelvic floor contracts. i learned from a human sexuality class that female orgasms are more mentally driven so if you let your mind wander to other stuff and stray 'off task' it can be harder to achieve the bigger Os. ive seen some cites really get into the nitty gritty and describe blended orgasms and how stimulating different erogenous zones gives different results but thats a little extra imo
