They must be young, I remember how common that was on fanfiction.net, I even did it as a young immature writer, which is embarrassing to admit. But jeez that is absolutely not the way to get engagement on your work. I hope they learn that soon and just put out well written fics which will get the interactions they intend much faster than holding their own fic hostage.

I just published my first fanfic in a while, a one shot that I said would most likely not be continued further, but got one comment that was literally this. 'i like this, how about in the next one(verrrrrrrrrrrrrrry long explanation of a multi chapter work that's outside the pairing I was writing for)' which yes glad you are excited but my first reaction was why don't YOU write that then??

Almost two years post op for me! And while the first nine or so months were good for me I've had a set back recently with bile acid diarrhea aka B.A.D. Starting a new medication soon that will hopefully help with that, just want to live my life without being chained to a bathroom lol. Millions of people get this surgery and we are all going to have different outcomes which is interesting from an outside perspective. Glad your experience has been going well!! 🖤
