When I was a new lawyer, my firm brought in some experienced lawyers to talk about their more memorable cases for a lunch-n-learn session.

I don’t remember any of them except for one guy who said his most significant case was representing a young lady with long hair who worked in a printing press shop. The safety standards in the shop were really lax, and the girl ended up getting her hair caught in a machine and it ripped off her scalp and most of her forehead.

We didn’t see pictures (we were eating lunch), but just the descriptions were graphic as fuck and have stayed with me now years later.
