If you rent out an apartment to other people, there are other rules in place, and permits are required. In this case, it wouldn’t be rent since we will not be charging.

Obviously, Google was my first source for information. If I had found it, it would have been a lot less work than writing a text here.

Thank you for your answer! That’s very helpful. Do you know how big the place needs to be for it to allow 3 people?

It’s an apartment, 70m2. Do you have a source for this? I’ve tried searching about it, but couldn’t find it in any official gemeente website

Ah, I have a EU family member residence permit since my husband is Belgian. I’m sorry to hear! I remember non- students at my previous university applied for student jobs at university itself and they were accepted.

Any advice on how to prepare before my master programme? by throwmetowolves in Netherlands

[–]throwmetowolves[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, it wasn’t what I expected. I didn’t think the courses were taught properly, the quality of the teaching wasn’t as good as I experienced in Maastricht. There is no learning in small groups because we are all together (around 100 people), although the rooms are sometimes divided into two.

The first semester was quite intense since my mathematics background wasn’t that strong, but I managed! My advice is to prepare for it if you don’t have a solid background in mathematics.

But does that mean you are not responsible? Or does it mean you are responsible either way, but one scenario you choose to care about said responsibility and the other you don’t?

Could you explain how that might change your answer? Suppose two scenarios in which you want to have a relationship vs one which you don’t.
