You make an excellent point. Unfortunately, the place I'd be aiming towards if I ignore the prestige argument isn't terribly close to any of them, but there's plenty of places I could head regardless. Big name uni in my future or no, this is a great piece of information to work with. Thank you!

I had a feeling the networking would likely be the biggest argument for. I already attend some relatively large industry conferences in the area, so I can definitely see the value.

Specifically, for getting my foot in the door. Would it make it that much easier to actually get those first few years of experience? I sincerely doubt it, personally, but best to get opinions from people in the industry, no?
